Hello Everybody,
Well if you have been watching the Ludington Daily News and following our progress on the DNR Trust Fund Grant , you know the project is "FULLY FUNDED" thanks to two unnamed donors who together gave a total of $255,000.00 with another $40,000.00 for construction and placement of a Digital message sign at the entrance to the Fairgrounds.
The Main Project is slated to be completed by Fair time this year. This will mean the paving of all of the roads, handicap ramps into all of the barns and buildings, an interpretive nature trail on the east side of the property, better drainage on the grounds to help with the flooding problems of the past, and a redesigned front entrance with a turn out for the mass transit buses.
Keep an eye out for the construction to begin!
